In April 2026, Graeme, our Partner Relations Manager, and his sister Lauren will be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, running with heart, determination, and a purpose that goes far beyond the finish line.
Proudly sponsored by Checkin Apartments, Graeme and Lauren are experienced, passionate runners, ready to represent the wider Barons Court Project (BCP) charity team while raising vital funds. Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference—and we’re hugely grateful for your support.
Why Checkin Apartments Is Supporting This Run
At Checkin Apartments, we believe community matters. While we specialise in high-quality serviced accommodation across London and the UK, we’re equally committed to supporting the people and places around us. That’s why we’re backing Barons Court Project, a charity doing truly life-changing work in our neighbourhood.
This run is about more than miles—it’s about coming together: partners, suppliers, colleagues, friends, and family—to raise funds, spread hope, and support a cause that changes lives every day.
Who Are The Barons Court Project?
The Barons Court Project (BCP) is a West London-based charity dedicated to supporting adults facing homelessness, poverty, mental health challenges, and social isolation. For more than a decade, BCP has been a lifeline for people in vulnerable situations, offering practical support alongside compassion and a sense of community.
At its heart, BCP provides a safe, welcoming space for people who are homeless, vulnerably housed, or living on low incomes. Through tailored support and community engagement, they help individuals rebuild confidence, regain independence, and feel they belong. Each year, BCP supports over 900 people and welcomes around 14,000 visits, an extraordinary impact made possible through the generosity and dedication of staff, volunteers, and supporters.
Key services provided by BCP include:
-
Hot meals and a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can find comfort and connection
-
Advice and advocacy covering housing, benefits, and legal guidance
-
Access to healthcare, mental health support, and pathways to employment
-
A respectful and compassionate community that fosters dignity, stability, and belonging
BCP’s approach goes beyond immediate relief. Their work focuses on long-term stability, empowering individuals to take positive steps toward independence and hope.
Checkin Apartments is proud to support BCP’s “Raising the Roof” campaign, a vital initiative helping improve and expand their services for the local community. In addition to fundraising, our team has previously volunteered with HomelessMade, their social enterprise selling cards and stationery with designs made by artists who have experienced homelessness deepening our commitment to community impact.
By backing BCP, we are helping ensure that this essential charity can continue its life-changing work, providing not just services, but hope, dignity, and a place to belong.
Our Fundraising Goal
Together, Graeme and Lauren are aiming to raise £660 for The Barons Court Project. Every pound raised will directly support BCP’s programmes and help them continue delivering frontline services to those who need them most.
As a business, Checkin Apartments is proud to contribute to this total and to encourage our wider network — clients, partners and friends — to get involved.
