If you would like to apply for a credit account with Checkin Apartments to streamline invoicing for your corporate stays, please complete our Credit Application form linked below. Applications are open to organisations and businesses registered in the United Kingdom. You will need your company details, financial details (bank name, account number, sort code) and two trade references.

Can I reserve an apartment without prepayment?

Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

In some cases, we may be able to hold an apartment for upto 24 hours, in case you need to finalise details with the corporate traveller or get approval for the stay.

Note: For corporate clients who have a credit account with Checkin Apartments, your booking will be confirmed after you approve the estimate and payment will be due as per the agreed credit terms on the invoice. Please contact us to open a corporate credit account (terms apply).

When will my credit card be charged?
Bookings made more than 90 days before arrival:
  • Flexible Rates: 25% is charged when you book. The remaining balance is due 90 days before arrival.
  • Non-Refundable Rates: Full payment is charged at the time of booking.
 
Bookings made less than 90 days before arrival:
  • Full payment is charged when you book.
Long-stay bookings (over 90 nights):
  • Payments are usually made monthly in advance, depending on booking terms and status.
 
Clients with a credit account:
  • Payment is due according to approved credit terms (usually within 28 days of invoice).
  • Credit accounts can be terminated at any time without notice.
  • Late payments may incur interest of 8% + Bank of England base rate, calculated every 28 days.
  • All bookings made in your company’s name must be paid for by your company.
  • Payments are made by bank transfer.

 

General payment details:
  • By making a booking, you accept full financial responsibility for payment on behalf of all guests listed on the booking.
  • Payments must be made in full via credit/debit card or bank transfer unless otherwise agreed, by the due date stated in your booking confirmation.
  • All payments must be made in £GBP unless otherwise stated.
  • If a deposit has been paid, the full balance must be paid by the balance due date.
  • Credit/debit card payments are processed securely via a third-party payment processor using 3D Secure.
Can I get a invoice suitable for corporate expense claims?

Yes, we can provide invoices stating your company name and the corporate traveller to assist with corporate expense claims.

Our invoices are in a VAT-ready format for reclaiming VAT in the UK.

If you need an invoice formatted for reclaiming taxes in other countries, please contact our team.

Is a deposit required to secure the booking?

Some serviced apartments charge a security deposit which can vary from £100.00 to a few week’s stay and may be charged on arrival or taken as a card pre-authorisation.

Are there cancellation or refund policies?

Each serviced apartment has a cancellation policy and clearly states the cancellation notice as well and any refunds, where applicable. Make sure you are fully aware of these policies before confirming your booking.

Note, amendment policies also apply, so do check in case you wish to shorten your stay or change the dates of travel.
