Recently our team visited the Kula London apartments, just off Theobalds Road in between Holborn and Russell Square, very centrally located in the city.
The location is perfect for those working around Holborn, Bloomsbury and Chancery Lane, Clerkenwell or Kings Cross with the added benefit of a close proximity to the entertainment and shopping of Oxford Street and the West End.
The apartments range from studios to three bedroom residences, each with eclectic art, teal and monochrome-coloured furnishings, space to work, dine, cook and relax, contemporary fittings and all the essentials to make this home for a short or long stay in the city.
We took a look around the two bedroom and the three bedroom penthouse apartments. The apartments are spread across two buildings on Emerald Street with different entrances.
Both buildings have stairs only and either two or three floors. A meet and greet service is available during office hours on arrival to help with bags.
The entrance is nice and inviting with some umbrellas you can borrow should it be a typical rainy day in London. Once you step into your flat, there’s fun art on the walls and a comfy sofa and armchair to relax in front of your Smart TV.
The brick walls and decorative fireplaces makes an appearance as a feature in some rooms across the apartments. There’s wooden flooring throughout. Some apartments have higher ceilings too. High speed wireless internet is provided throughout your stay.
There’s a handy welcome pack with some snacks on the table when you arrive and you might find some local city guides dotted around. Kitchens are open plan and stocked with plenty of cooking appliances, cutlery and crockery, a dishwasher and washing machine and even some oil, salt and pepper to get you started. There’s a Nespresso machine as well.
Bedrooms are bright, beds are made up with fresh linen on arrival, wardrobes have good-sized storage space and you may even have a work desk and chair. Rugs and bedside tables also feature here. A weekly cleaning service is included during which linen and towels are changed and the apartment is given a freshening up.
There’s decent wardrobe space in every apartment with a safe and hangers. You will also find an iron and ironing board. Bathrooms are tiled with fluffy towels on arrival, showers over bathtubs or standalone shower cubicles. A little vanity mirror is also placed in here for your convenience. 100% recycled and refillable premium toiletries add a nice touch.
The Three Bedroom Penthouse has a lovely wraparound outdoor terrace on the top level outside the living room.
The apartments are fully compliant with health and safety for your peace of mind and also offer 24/7 support for any emergencies.
