How many people can a serviced apartment accommodate?
Serviced apartments range from studios for one or two people to five bedrooms sleeping up to 10. Maximum occupancy limits apply in all serviced apartments for health and safety reasons. However many properties do allow you to add extra beds (either foldaway or sofa beds) and baby cots for infants, usually for an extra charge.
What type of bed is in the apartment?
Some apartments may have a single, double, queen, or king size bed. Different rooms may have different types of beds, so check this if it is important to your stay. If you are sharing with friends or colleagues, you may want to ensure you book apartments with twin beds. In some cases, apartments offer a zip link bed which is a king size bed with the option to become twin beds on request.
How much space is there in a serviced apartment?
Depending on the type of property, you may have 1,2,3 or more bedrooms. Studios comprise of one large room with open plan living and sleeping areas.
Check the square footage or floorplan (or sq mts) to get a good understanding of the space available.
How often are serviced apartments cleaned?
Housekeeping services, bin clearing, linen and towel changes vary from daily, twice a week, weekly or once fortnightly in some properties, check this before you book.
What time is Check-in and Check-out in a serviced apartment?
Check-in and check-out procedures depend on the property you book.
- Check-in times can vary from 2pm to as late as 6pm. Earlier check-in times can be requested for an additional charge depending on availability.
- Check-out is usually between 10am-12pm. Later check-out times can be requested for an additional charge depending on availability.
The check-in process varies across different properties, so do check this ahead of your arrival. These are the common check-in arrangements:
- at a 24 hour reception or concierge on-site
- at a nearby management office or sister property
- via a pre-arranged meet and greet service
- using a key safe at the property (key codes provided prior to arrival)
