Last week, Graeme – our partner relations manager – headed up to Manchester with his family and friends for the weekend to participate in the Manchester Half Marathon on Sunday. While in town, he based himself at the smart Kula Manchester serviced apartments on Market Street which provided the perfect home from home in the city.
They arrived late Friday evening and had no issues checking in with the seamless self check-in process. The party of four quickly settled into their private two bedroom one bathroom apartment.
The apartment was right in the heart of Manchester city and was furnished to a high standard with stunning interiors and large floor-to-ceiling windows. The living room was well set up with a dining table for six, comfy sofas and a smart TV, perfect for relaxing in the evening. There was a work desk in the corner, which would be perfect for any business traveller.
The large open plan kitchen was fully stocked and provided everything they needed to cook and dine-in, including a four ring induction hob, oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and plenty of cookware, cutlery, crockery and glassware.
The group stayed in on the first night to carbo-load before the big race and whipped up a delicious home cooked meal. The welcome pack was a nice touch with teas, coffess and snacks to share.
The bedrooms had king size beds, dressed with fresh linen and towels on arrival, a full-length mirror and large wardrobes.
On Saturday morning, they found a fantastic brunch spot, just minutes away from the apartment, which was the perfect start to the day before they set out to explore the city.
The apartments were very centrally located making it easy to explore the Northern Quarter, home to some of the best independent shops, restaurants, pubs, and music venues in Manchester. Plus, there were grocery and convenience stores on just about every corner, which made picking up essentials convenient too.
Graeme particularly liked the artwork in the apartment, which was mostly bee-themed – a nod to Mancunians’ hard work ethic and the city’s reputation as a hive of activity.
