Generally it was very good and modern. Location was brilliant. Housekeeping service was excellent throughout. We enjoyed our stay and will look forward to coming back.
We had some heating problems with controls that persisted through the stay. Our main bedroom had pigeons that prevented the windows from opening. For safety reasons, the showers should have grab bars.. Very good.
Roomy, clean, comfortable, friendly staff.. Could not have been better.
The reasons i reduced my rating on “Comfort” and “Customer Service” to 7 from what ought to have been 9 are:
1. On “comfort”, there is a small design flaw which needs to be rectified: the bedroom being somewhat small, one has to squeeze past the small chest of drawers that doubles up as a television table. This becomes hazardous because of the sharp drawer handles that protrude from the chest of drawers at knee or calf height. My partner and I had two unpleasant bangs on the knees, and spent the rest of the trip sidling gingerly between the bed and the drawers. The drawer handles need to be replaced.
2. Again on “comfort”, this being a queen-sized double bed (and not a twin-bedded room), it is essential to have a queen-sized mattress. We had two mattresses with a crack between them, and though a thin mattress-cover is provided, it does not disguise the uncomfortable gap.
3. On “customer service”, we were disappointed with the response to our request to ramp up the bedroom airconditioning, which was very deficient (unlike the living room Aircon which worked fine). We pointed out that the A/C wall control in the bedroom showed a message that the filters needed cleaning, but got a lackadaisical answer that this was done every three months. Ultimately, since we were leaving two days later, we just bore it.
Despite these three problems, which I am highlighting not as criticism, but in order to help you to solve them, we loved our stay overall, and the advantages outweighed the disadvantages.. Excellent.

I have stayed at Monarch House a few times and will definitely stay there again. The location is very convenient and the flats are very nice. The service is good and the staff do their best to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend it._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_. I have always found Check-in London to be very helpful in finding accommodation for me in London, even at short notice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Monarch House. This was my second time of staying there and I will definitely be back. The facilities are excellent, the location is good and the staff are friendly.. I found check in London to be easy to use and their customer support is excellent. I’ve used it twice and I would certainly use it again

Well maintained apartments at convenient location 7mins to tube. If you arrive in the rain ask for entry via garage – we were caught on the streets with bags and kids. Not exactly convinient. Good and new equipment / plenty of right cutlery.. Components to Chrystall – she is good for her word when she advises on quality and features. Went out of way to personally check apartment for standards. Excellent response as well. Certainly will use Check In London again for next trip.
